If you Google anything about health or physical activity, you’re going to get a whole lot of info, with contradictory messaging, confusing terms, intimidating poses, and just a whole lot of feeling overwhelmed. This can be a big step to take on your own – so don’t take it on your own.
By taking a program, led by someone you trust, you are starting something where all the research has been done for you. Take advantage of this space that has been created, a space where you will be guided along as you move, experiment, and start taking your own personalized journey around movement. And since we are speaking of programs, I have one ready and waiting for you! Flex Fundamentals: A Four-Week Stretch Intensive.
Flex Fundamentals will help students perform mobility and flexibility movements with ease, awareness, and proper form. Students will understand proper muscle engagement while being able to distinguish discomfort and soreness from pain and injury. With Vera’s (she/they) experience and guidance, students will feel confident in building a foundation of mobility and flexibility movements tailored to their bodies and abilities. This 30-day program is useful for both beginners and those who would like the chance to troubleshoot and build upon their current practice.
This is a judgment-free and inclusive space. No shame or diet talk. Broken down into weeks, Flex Fundamentals: A Four-Week Stretch Intensive will offer both live and pre-recorded mobility and flexibility classes, as well as lecture videos, guest speakers, and more.
Prerequisite: students need to be able to apply some pressure on their wrists and knees. Please contact Vera with any questions or concerns. Make sure to have the go-ahead from your doctor on any and all flexibility and movement routines.
