Reflection on where you started
2022 is around the corner; on your marks, get ready …
With the year coming to a close, this is a great time to reflect on the past year, month, week, maybe even the past hour. This year marked Flexibility with Vera’s first year. With classes like Flexy Fatties and Splitsville, I have been honoured to help lead people into their flexibility and movement journeys. This year has also seen the development of 30-minute classes (Flex Express and To the Core), private sessions, and even Flexibility with Vera’s first challenges! I have assembled a team, collaborated with some pretty cool partners, and I am so excited to present Flex Fundamentals: A Four-Week Stretch Intensive. We are excited and ready for Year 2!
But hey, this isn’t all about me. What are your accomplishments this past year? You have learned more about your posture and how your body works. Your past year has literally been full of twists and turns. Or maybe you have recently signed up and are currently doing some breath work, getting ready for that something-new ahead. You are all doing this plus your everyday lives, navigating relationships, spaces, and this whole pandemic thing everyone keeps talking about. Your year has been a big deal – take some time to appreciate how great you are, how far you have come, and get excited for what’s around the bend.
This time of year we take a look at where we have been and where we can grow. We get to decide what parts can stay behind and which can be carried forward. We know that we can’t predict what’s ahead, and I’m not pretending to have all the answers, but I can help out when it comes to flexibility, movement, and just feeling so damn good.
